I sold two paintings to someone in Spain this week. It is always good to have someone appreciate what you do, I had not sold to anyone in Spain before, it felt good. The two that sold were the first I had done following the death of my partner of 25 years, Sandra, in January. Still lives and a return to this blog

I have thrown myself into work of late without looking for any reasons for what I was doing. Perhaps some time will give me some perspective and insight, if these are needed of course but we do appear to crave answers. I do know that I am particularly drawn to producing still life works at the moment. It appears that they are holding a certain poignancy for me, perhaps watching someone die will do that, cause you to reflect, take stock, look...slowly move on.
